Correspondence between Dr. James D. Edwards and Representative James R. Jones Regarding Flood Control in Tulsa, 1976, 1976-07-27
Dr. James D. Edwards, an osteopathic internal medicine practitioner, wrote a letter to Representative James R. Jones thanking him for his assistance in resolving communication issues with the Internal Revenue Service. Jones had also been working on flood control projects for Little Joe Creek, but federal assistance was deemed unfeasible due to regulations. Jones pledged to work with city and federal sources to find alternative funding for flood control projects. A memo was also sent to Jerry Conray to gather more information on the eligibility of Little Joe Creek for federal funding.
