Mrs. Michael Eschback wrote a letter to Congressman James R. Jones expressing her frustration in finding replacement lids for her number 63 canning jars. Congressman Jones responded, informing her that the Ball and Kerr Glass companies no longer make number 63 lids, but the Bernardin Company still does. He provided her with the contact information for Bernardin, Inc. in Evansville, Indiana.
