Roger Merritt is writing to Congressman James R. Jones to express his concerns about air and water pollution. He suggests implementing filters on smokestacks, cars, and planes, as well as recycling exhaust fumes for better mileage in cars. He also recommends strengthening laws on dumping trash and sewage in bodies of water, inspecting underwater piping systems regularly, and using organic fertilizers to prevent algae growth in streams. Roger hopes that his ideas will be considered for improving environmental issues.
