An Open Letter to Honorable James R. Jones on Environmental Conservation, 1973-04-06

Cindy Brooks, a student at Skelly Jr. High, wrote a letter to Congressman James R. Jones discussing the importance of addressing environmental issues such as pollution, energy crisis, overpopulation, and urban conservation. She suggested using billboards, newspapers, and television to educate people on how they can help by using environmentally friendly products and practices. She emphasized the need for recycling, air and water pollution control, conservation of wildlife and plants, and urban development. Cindy urged Congressman Jones to raise awareness and encourage everyone to do their part in protecting the environment.
