The letter is from James R. Jones to B. Bob Stopp, President of the Inter-Tribal Council of the Five Civilized Tribes. Jones thanks Stopp for his letter and resolution regarding the restructuring of the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Although the reorganization does not fall under the jurisdiction of the House of Representatives, Jones appreciates Stopp's support for the realignment proposed by Assistant Secretary Brodman.
