Scope and Contents

The Southwestern Cooperative Educational Laboratory (Southwest Cooperative Education Laboratory) was created in order to better serve the needs of the various subcultures in the southwestern United States. The region is home to a large number of minorities, including Spanish-Americans, Indians, and rural-dwelling Anglos, who have historically not attained the same levels of education as the majority Anglo-American population.
