The American Welding School and Testing Laboratory in Tulsa, Oklahoma has had success with the Oklahoma Tribal Assistance Program, which helps Native American students learn welding skills. The program has been successful in helping students develop work habits, personal hygiene, and motivation, and most of the students have gone on to become productive citizens.
