Notes he and Murray belong to "a former generation before this old world started to hell in a hand basket," but gives Murray further encouragement [presumably concerning the Memoirs getting published]. Hutchins includes his address on the back of the page.

Impson expresses his hope Murray will get his 135 orders for publication, but equally notes that for the recent special session (April 10 - 21) that he voted against using public funds for this purpose over the precedent it would set. But he is happy to support Murray's work as a private citizen.

The South must resist it and a Constitutional Amendment ought to be passed preventing any President from sending troops to fight for England, so to enlarge its Empire.
