Scope and Contents A typed single-page letter from State Representative Hiram Impson to William H. Murray enclosing a check for $15 to place an order of the latter's Memoirs. Impson expresses his hope Murray will get his 135 orders for publication, but equally notes that for the recent special session (April 10 - 21) that he voted against using public funds for this purpose over the precedent it would set. But he is happy to support Murray's work as a private citizen.

Scope and Contents A typed single-page letter from J.G. Puterbaugh, President of the McAlester Fuel Company, to John H. Kane, noting the latter's advanced order for William H. Murray's Memoirs and discussing the financing of the books' publishing. Puterbaugh requests that Kane send the money for the number of copies he wants either directly to Murray or to himself, noting that this history should be in every public and school library. Scope and Contents A typed single-page letter from Maude Karr to William H. Murray enclosing a check for $15 for set of "Governor Murray's History" (aka: the Memoirs). Further comments, negatively, on the "Red move" the country has taken with the New Deal (which she associates with slavery). The South must resist it and a Constitutional Amendment ought to be passed preventing any President from sending troops to fight for England, so to enlarge its Empire.

Murray noting an enclosed editorial he thinks Murray would like owing to the latter's writing style. Inquires as to the Murray book entered into the Congressional Record [The President, the Supreme Court and Seven Senators]. requesting publisher info to order a copy. Notes his time with Murray at the 1932 democratic presidential convention, where they were photographed together.
